On January 22, the 2019 Annual Working Conference of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences was held in Beijing. The meeting comprehensively summarized the annual workof 2018, deployed key tasks of 2019, and commended the important scientific and technological achievements of the academy and its subordinate institutions in 2018. Among them, “New technology of rice-fish integrated breeding and winter leisure field ecological breeding in Hani terraced fields” led by the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center was selected as one of the top ten scientific and technological innovation highlights of 2018.
