FFRC first held the Seminar on Sustainable Fishery Development for Sierra Leone

On July 12th, the opening ceremony of the “2018 Seminar on Sustainable Fishery Development for Sierra Leone”, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center was held in FFRC. Prof. Xu Pao, director of FFRC, and Mr. Li Zhi, deputy chief of the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation, Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, attended the opening ceremony.

This seminar is the first bilateral training project for Sierra Leone undertaken by FFRC. It lasted for 20 days and was attended by 33 senior fishery technicians and management officials from the Ministry of Fisheries of Sierra Leone, among them, there are 2 deputy ministers and 1 division-level officials.
