Seminar on value-added fishery development and market system construction for developing countries was held in FFRC

During July 15 to August 4, 2015, 35 participants from Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Samoa, Latvia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Ghana, Malawi and Kenya participated in the Seminar on value-added fishery development and market system construction for developing countries.

The seminar will adopt modular method and include three major modules namely value-added fishery development, market system construction, and culture experience. During the seminar, 35 participants had gone to visit research and education institutions, technical extension departments and leading fishery enterprises in Jiangsu province, Shanghai city and Guangdong province; so that, by exchanging ideas with the managerial staff, primary producers and technicians in China, they could obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the practices and achievements China has made in fishery product development and market system construction, and promote bilateral or multilateral cooperation in fishery.
